People may need an immediate answer, or they may not always know how to search, also sometimes it is just better to ask someone who has firsthand knowledge of a certain question.

What do others think about Google?

Google has everything: from Angry Birds to Google Chrome (something like that). Google came before bing- which is a copycat to Google. This search engine (Google) is endless with information and features like: Google Docs, Google Chrome, Google notebook, Google Earth, Google Sketch-up, Google plus, Google Buzz, and more that is continous. So I rather choose glorious Google than boring bing.

Can you use Wikipedia?

Yes, many people who answer questions on this site do refer to Wikipedia. However, as a professor, I always recommend that you also look at other sources, just to make sure you are being accurate. Wikipedia is a good site, but no site is perfect, and whenever possible, you should always look at more than one source. However, when referring to other sites, be careful to choose a fact-based site, rather than one that is opinion-based.

Why are certain entries deleted from Wikipedia?

Wikipedia runs on a "consensus" system, at least in theory. An article there can be deleted if enough people feel it is unworthy of an encyclopedic article, or if it meets certain other criteria. One complaint some people have with Wikipedia is that the deletion criteria seem to favor the opinions of a select few, rather than a true majority. This could be due to a lack of participation in the processes laid down, though. First of all, anyone can edit wikipedia. So people can put false information, or something innapropriate. Second, people can delete anything.

Why don't people use google rather than this it's much easier plus it's Faster?

Sometimes Google doesn't give you exactly what you want, and it can't tell you how good the game is based on player experience. ;)
