Why do people continue to drink when they have a drinking problem?

Because their bodoies have become dependant on the chemicals that are in the alcohol, and they become addicted to it. After all, it's easier to go and drink to forget the problems that all of us have to tdeal with in our day-to-day lives. It is called a drinking problem because persons have a problem that they can't solve in leaving alcohol alone. Look up 'Alcoholism' on any medical website to learn more about it.

∙ 15y agoPeople drink for lots of reasons. Some people drink because it makes them happy or makes them feel good about themselves. Others drink because they think it makes them relaxed, calm, quiet, and special it can lead to anti-social behaviour! approximatley 40,000 people in the UK die each year because of alcohol. there is an increase of medical emergencies caused by alcohol. alcopops have a high content of alcohol in them! mixing alcohol with medicines or any drug can be dangerous. it can give you up to three different types of cancer. some people depend on alcohol! SO BE CAREFUL AND SAFE!

∙ 13y agosometimes people drink because parents do it or it is just curiosity,but other people tell you to do it or someone might do it cos they might be stressed or depressed.
I know a few people who have dunk alcohol before and said dont drink too much.
Ive never tried it though and i dont think i will.
Also i think that people use alcohol as an excuse to get away from realitly because alcohol changes who you are and what your vaules are. have you ever heard the song she only likes me when im drunk? well there you go. You change the person you are. and some people like to hide beind that facde
