Usually people are pressured to join unions. Unions serve the purpose of increasing costs and driving businesses overseas. They served a purpose years ago, but are now much more trouble than they are worth. Rather than advancing the cause of improving the US economy, they are powers unto themselves and interested only in their own agenda.
