∙ 8y agoVery. In ist first publication run of 6000 book all were sold ot in 2 weeks forcing the publishers to have to run a further 6000 copies very quickly. The story still remains one of the most sought after and adapted stories

∙ 8y agoVery. There were 600 copies printed initially funded by Dickens himself as it was felt by the publishers that the book would not sell. Within one week all 600 had been sold and there was huge demand for more.
