Also as a trade route along the Great Lakes and St Lawrence river it developed as the eastern seaboard in the u s did. Also after the FLQ gained prominence in Quebec most American and international companies fled Quebec and in particular Montreal, then the largest city in Canada, and they relocated to English Ontario and in particular Toronto. And thus the jobs and thus the Immigration influx and thus the population boom!

∙ 14y agoI am Canadian and we love to live in Canada because it is free, and its mostly the same as the states but some parts of the states are warmer (not for Alaska) so why is Canada different from the states, and by the way we live in houses not igloos and we drive cars and we don't play hockey, actually I hate hockey because I'm a figure skater!

But Saskatchewan is still better!
because we have really good farm land, we`re super awesome, and its the best place ever:)

a) theres lots of space and privacy
b) theres a cornacopia of animals, plants and birds
c) there are large cities such as Toronto which have a diverse population and many cultures
d) there are beautiful sights to see and tons of attractions to visit
e) O.H.I.P (Ontario health insurance plan... free health care)
f) there is lots of farms and fresh local produce
g) there's freedom

There is also the fact that Brian Cooper lives there. Who is Brian Cooper you ask? He is a great guy who at 60 years of age rides a motorcycle and has the character of a much younger guy. He is fun to be around and deserves to reach his mission someday of being famous.
Betty White is proving that maturity is the new "in" these days and Brian wants to be a part of it. He would love to be in a movie or commercial riding his motorcycle as either a "bad dude" or cool grampa.
He has websites that are his hobby and keeps his mind active and alert....not that he needs it because he is one wise grampa.
