It could be that they are in pain, check your tack! :)

It could be because they are excited or unhappy! :)

It could be because they have a panic on just sit back and kick them on, if it persists because of none of the above ask an expert!

It could be that that you have really pissed of the horse.

Hope this helps! :)

They are either scared of something, know that you are an inexperienced rider and want to play a little game, or are just REALLY annoyed at: you, your style of riding, or what they are being asked to do. Most inexperienced riders SHOULD know that it is just a friendly game. They want to see how you react. If you still have questions about how you can stay on while your pony bucks or how to train your pony to STOP bucking, POST your question, and I will answer it to the best of my ability!!

The horse could be bucking for many reasons. You should observe the horses behaviour just before it begins bucking to help determine what might be causing it. Typically however bucking is mostly pain related, such as an ill fitting saddle, saddle pad or even the bit. These can all cause pain and the horse would buck to try and get rid of the pain. The problem can also be caused from poor training practices. Either way it is best to have a equine veterinarian come out and check the horse for problems.

This is a form of bucking where all four feet come off the ground, like the horse is hopping around instead of the standard bucking where the back legs are kicking out and high and the front feet are planted firmly in the ground. I believe that this term is also called "sundogging" by some for the same bucking actions of the bronco horse.
