raspberries have hair on them because it is needed for spreading out their seeds. They need to establish and survive themselves so those hairs help them to spread out in the air or by stick in on the body of any animal!! This probably is the real reason!!!!

If you look real close a raspberry is a bunch of seeds. Each little seed has a "hook" which nature provides to help that seed grab onto something passing by and carry it to where it can drop off and grow into new raspberries.
