To make one thing clear, Christians don't believe in running around shooting people. However, Christians believe if it is protecting something, (World War II, for example. If American's wouldn't of shot a couple of Nazis, the Nazis would take over the world.) then it would be understandable.
It depends on which war "the war" refers to. Many Christians believe in Just War Theory, so if there is a conflict that fits the requirements of the theory to be a just war, these Christians will support it. There are also Christians who support wars for non-Christian reasons such as patriotism, security justifications, fear, or intolerance.
just about everything was acceptable at the time. Slaves were deemed as "property" and anything you did tot he slaves was deemed ok. Such as rape, beatings, andything you can pretty much think of. Those were some terrible times
There were some, yes.
The Egyptians believed that when you died, you had to go on (a spiritual) journey to the afterlife. Some of the passages that I can think of at the top of my head is that you have to go down a river, and some time after that is where you get your heart tested for purity. That's all I can think of for the moment.
Because they did not worship gods or goddesses like the Romans did. Some Christians turned away from their responsibilities as Roman citizens, such as serving in the army.
Some Roman emperors were worried about the loyalty of the Christians to the Roman state. The Romans saw Roman religion as an integral part of the Roman state. The Christians were converting Romans to their religion. The emperor Decius ordered everyone in the empire to perform sacrifices in honour to the Roman gods to prove their loyalty to the state. The Christians refused to do so because they abhorred sacrifices and because they saw this as a betrayal of their god. Many Christians were executed. The emperor Valerian took a similar action. Later the emperor Diocletian unleashed the biggest persecution, again because he saw the Christians as a threat to the state.

Some secular and Reform Jews think that cremation is acceptable.
I think that Somalia has the least, but there are at least some Christians there.
Many Christians think that Christmas is a holy day, and many Christians believe that it is a holiday. I would say that most of them think it is both, but some of them think that it is only one or the other.
I think that some of them are Christians and some of them celebrate Animism.
At least some of them do so because the best guidance the Bible has to offer on the issue is that gay people should be killed and this mandate is among those that modern Christians are unwilling to accept. Some Christians find civil partnerships more acceptable than same-sex marriages because the change in vocabulary makes it clear that it refers to a civil law and not to the sacramental right of Christian matrimony. Still many other Christians are unwilling to accept any legal recognition of a same-sex relationship, regardless of the vocabulary used.
As with any large group of people some will agree and some will disagree.
A:I'm sure some Christians think this because they realise that a truly global Flood, as described in the Bible, is scientifically impossible. The choice, also adopted by many Christians, is to accept that the story of Noah's Ark is not literally true.
Some think 16, some 17 but usually up in that area is good. Some Christians court instead of dating.
Without some kind of survey we will never know.
In some areas of Europe and America. It's acceptable in Asia, due to being part of tradition to consume shark.
If some Jews think they are 'better than others' it is no different from some Christians and Muslims who think that morally and spiritually they tower above head and shoulders above ordinary people. In my experience they Jews don't 'bang on' about the subject, though. Perhaps the notion that Jews think they are better is part of the stereotype?
