because they are afraid of changes and the new things or new people. people fear the "black men"(as you put it) because of what they do and what they believe in People are racist and believe the stereotypes they hear about black men being more aggressive, which is BS but people are not generally very smart. Also, whitel people fear black people because they are afraid of the tables turning and whites being oppressed, which would probably teach us white people a lesson.
Here is a quick list of reasons:
1. their physical form is stereotyped to be superior but in fact is not...
2. Their pseudo confidence and style (or "swagger")
3. Over hyped penis size... Italians are found to have larger penis size than people of African descent.
4. The ancient greek historians claimed they got their arts and sciences from Egypt - especially philosophy. Egyptians while described as black Africans have more relation to Caucasians than Africans.
5. Blacks have some gene dominance when it comes to skin color, eye color and hair types. Continued inter racial breeding with Africans will dilute their gene structure to a point where it is non existent.
6. Black men's conditioning during enslavement made them athletic in sports.
7. Blacks lack musical talent.
You might disagree with some or all of this, but I would challenge you to look at the western culture and history and see if these things are not so.
These are the reason I can think of now...but there might be more.
Genetic annihilation. fear of retribution, narcissitic preoccupation with blue eyes and white skin.
black people feared white people because they had no rights and were terrorized.

I think fear is the color white, as in as white as a ghost, or when you are scared you turn pale, or when you are scared you hide under the white sheets.
White people viewed themselves as better than everyone else. Ignorance, lack of knowledge, false sense of superiority, and fear of the unknown.
People fear what they don't know and often don't take the time to get to know people of other races/cultures.
The fear of other races would fall under the fear of anyone that is unlike one's self, which is called xenophobia. The opposite reaction - attraction to people who are unlike one's self - is called xenophilia.
