The headlights are bulbs that insert into the glass from under the hood. One is behind the battery. They turn 90 degrees and pull out. They can be tiresome to try to change
check the switch and make sure the lights are out. on the other hand could be a faulty interior light switch, somthing i have never seen
Open it up and see what battery it takes.
they are photocells....they adjust the headlights from daytime lights to headlights when it gets dark out and vise-versa
Follow the positive battery cable from the battery. It will lead you to the starter.
Look to the very left side of the console at the drivers side door for the switch
either by battery or fire wall
you might need a good battery
Yes. They will also be lost if the battery drops below 12v.
I changed your battery?? I don't think so. I think your alternator is your problem!
On older models (ex my 91) there are Phillips screws on the sides on the headlights that you turn to adjust the headlights (either up or down or left or right) on newer cars (ex my 98) there are levels built right into the headlight assembly, park the car dead level with a half tank of gas and like up the marks by turning the screws that adjust the headlights
have the battery checked and test the voltage regulator
The engine computer (next to the battery) is also the regulator.
just take the negative off the battery for about 5 minutes put back on battery and that should reset it
Can anyone tell me why my new battery goes dead in my 1997 Buick Ultra Park Ave?
Yes, it is. It is connected by a small strip of land along Foster Avenue.

I don't know if this will answer your question but I did have a buddy, whos dad took the top headlights out of an older gmc pickup truck, they had like rectangle headlights and the plastic housing too. he did that so he could get the BLU color headlights in. I don't know how he got them to fit and im not aware of the modifications to do so but that's all I know and I hope it helps you.
You break it!
