Why do toes burn?

Ask your doctor whether you might have neuropathy, especially if

you are over 40 or are very overweight. It is common if a person

has high blood sugar (diabetes) but neuropathy also has many other

causes.

If neuropathy is not the cause, burning toes would still likely

be caused by pressure on a nerve. Make sure you always wear the

right sized shoes. If you are female, wear lower heels to relieve

pressure on the toes. Avoid pointy-toed shoes.
