I believe blacks are hated so much because of our skin color.

No one cares about how we act, no one cares about how we dress, do one cares about what we do. People just hate us because of the simple fact that we're a different color and we're from a different culture.

They don't. In fact a high percentage of people in the southern states are black. I know that discrimination still exists but it is not limited to southerners and it has become less of a factor and will hopefully continue to decrease as one generation passes into the next.

If you are thinking of the discrimination of past decades, that was based on fear on the part of those doing the hating and their efforts to feel power over another group of people. That's a bit oversimplified, but you weren't asking for the history of discrimination in the south.

If you are looking for the reasons for one groups hatred for another, I will direct you to the link below.

The people who hate black people as a whole generally base their hatred on a caricature or stereotype of a black person and not on most actual black people themselves. Much of the racism is passed down from generation to generation

People hate what they do not understand or find different, as fear and hate are the brothers of ignorance.

Americans in general don't hate black people; The American President is himself of African American descent. Besides President Obama, there have been many great black Americans, such as Harriet Tubman, Booker T. Washington, George Washington Carver, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr., and Colin Powell. This question is founded on ignorance and deserves to be rebuffed.

Answer:

This type of comment would be considered offensive to most people due to the stereotyping of a particular group of individuals based on a preconceived bias. Americans do not hate black people. In fact, a large percentage of Americans are African American. Most Americans want equality for all and stereotyping a group is unhelpful. Professional help may be a solution to very overcoming the prejudicial view you have against the people of tthis area. .

To say that Southerners or Mormons hate blacks is an unfair and prejudiced statement based on the opinions of a few (mostly historical) people in power.
White southerners have been assumed to 'hate' blacks because many of their ancestors treated blacks unfairly over 50 years ago. While there are likely some southerners (especially in the older generation) who have negative feelings toward blacks today, the majority do not. Most southerners have grown up alongside many black friends and neighbors and have no negative opinions about their race.
Mormons have been assumed to 'hate' blacks as well, because the Church did not allow blacks of African descent to be ordained to the clergy for a period between 1850 and 1978. However, most Mormons did not understand or support the ban at the time, and very few, if any, Mormons today have anything against blacks. Ironically, part of the reason the Mormons were kicked out of Missouri in the 1800's was because of their acceptance of black members and their anti-slavery position. The Church very strictly teaches that all people of all races and cultural backgrounds are equally loved by God. There are probably at least a million black Mormons today, many of whom serve in local and regional clergy positions. Some black Mormons are fairly well known and celebrated, such as Mia Love (a US Representative from Utah), Alex Boye (singer and performer), and Gladys Knight (popular singer).

Why do some people hate literature?

Not many people hate literature. Who does not like a good story? What people will not enjoy a good movie or stage production from time to time? There may be people who do not enjoy reading, and that is another matter. If people have not been taught well, they may have an aversion to reading. Some people are dealing with dyslexia and other kinds of difficulties that make it hard or nearly impossible to enjoy reading. We sometimes mistakenly think that literature refers only to materials written hundreds of years ago, or by people who share nothing of life and culture with us. That is not the case. Literature is a broader concept than that, and literature is all around us.

Why do people hate?

The reason most people hate is because they are jealous that you have something better than they do. So instead of working towards getting what you have they hate against you. Then they're are people who were raised to hate people. Sometimes some people hate others for no reason but just the fun of it. Clarification: Hate is a chemical response in your brain usually due to a) Someone you trust does not meet your expectations (As in the saying: "There's a thin line between love and hate") b) Someone hurt you or/and someone/something you care very much about The line that defines hate is very hard to determine but the usual guideline is that if a person can go without facing the object of his/her aggressive feelings for over a year and still have the same feelings towards it/him/her when reaquainted it can be considered hate.

Why do they call dark skinned Americans African-Americans when they are Americans just like I am if you are born with in the 50 states your American so lets eliminate the term African American?

Many white Americans call themselves Irish American, Italian American, or Asian American. The United States is a country if immigrants, and the people never gave up their history or culture when they came here. It is important for African Americans or black Americans to have a sense of history or purpose. Knowing where we come from will give us the self esteem to be positive and productive American citizens. My black friends hate to be called African-Americans. They were born in the US, their moms and grandmothers were born in the USA. The liberal media and Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton used the term African-American to separate themselves from the rest of the US. Equal, but separate is their goal. That term encourages racism and resentment!

Why do people randomly start hating on you?

Answer:That depends, some people have insecurity problems that have nothing to do with you. It is their problem.Answer:Because they don't know that the problem is within themselves, these people will always hate you no matter what you do so, don't try to please them or make sense of it.Next answer:Because people are insecure and they pick on others in order to feel better about themselves. Forming social groups, cliques, is a sort of tribalism to separate "us" from "them". The separation can be a basis for mob behavior that would not normally be seen in those people on an individual basis.A clique may choose to harass another clique in order to create a commonality that defines them as a group. For example, Jets fans may hate Chargers fans because that's one of the things Jets fans do. Hating Chargers fans is one of the ways you establish that you belong to the "Jets fans" group.
