In The Online World It Says That, "Humidity is the measure of the percentage of water vaporization in the air. When there is high humidity, less sweat from your skin evaporates into the air because the air has too much water already. Sweat evaporating cools you because the process of evaporation absorbs heat from you body. Hence, you feel uncomfortable because your body cannot get rid of heat from sweat. "

Primarily because your body's cooling system is rendered less effective. Your body produces sweat and counts on that sweat to be evaporated (evaporation is a process that adds latent heat to the atmosphere, in the process lowering the sensible temperature). Sweat is not as easily evaporated if the air is more humid, essentially because there is more water vapor already in the air and there is no "room" for additional liquid to be evaporated into the air. Therefore, if your body can't evaporate its sweat then it won't be long before it starts to overheat.

When the air is humid your sweat can not evaporate effectively and as it is the evaporation of sweat that cools a human, you feel hotter when it is humid.

your skin collects all of the water vapor in the air, and that makes it sticky, making you uncomfortable.

Because there are too much water vapours in the air so our sweat doesnot evaporate and we feel very uncomfortable in hot and humid weather

What is the difference between hot humid and cold humid air?

If it is hot humid air, the air will be filled with a lot of moisture, and your hands feel all sticky and when you breathe, the air feels thick. But when it's cold humid air, the air has less moisture and it may feel easier to breath in. But it still has the same humidity as the hot air, you just feel it different. This is because when you say the air is humid, you are basically saying that the air has moisture in it. But the air always has moisture in it, but you can feel it when there is high humidity. So when it is cold air, you feel the humidity less. Because if it is hot air, that means the sun must be out, and when the sun is out, it evaporates the sweat and moisture off your skin and goes into the air. That is why in a crowded room, we describe the air as 'stuffy' because it is filled with the body heat from all the people in the room. I hope I answered your question properly. :)

Why do you fell hotter on a humid day?

it has something to do with physics: every "material" has its own thermal conductivity. that means the energy transferred increases as the thermal conductivity of the material increases. thats why if you tough a piece of wood which has the exact same temperature of a piece of metal it still will feel less warm. because wood's thermal conductivity is lower than metals, it will "transfer" less energy (energy = temperature) per second to your finger, so you will feel it less. so figure thermal conductivity of humid air is higher than dry air.

What is meant by humid specific heat?

Humidity is how much water content is in the air aroundus.I think humid specific means " as we perceive or feel it " This is why you feel hot on a humid day at 80 degree with 90 percent humidity than lets say a day that's 100 degrees with 25 percent humidity (one hundred percent humidity equals Rain) With high humidity we cannot cool off by perspiration, making us Feel warmer than it might actually be.And the reverse can of course be said the less humidity the better we can handle a very high temperature day.

Why humidity is unbearable after rain?

When it's humid it makes it feel hot and sweat doesn't evaporate as fast as it does when it's less humid so you end up feeling sticky. Usually if the rain cools it down enough the extra humidity isn't noticeable but if it doesn't cool everything off then all it does is make everything humid, on top of the heat that it failed to get rid of, which is just unconformable. Depends on the type of rain of course.
