Laissez-faire is not the dominant view of economics in any part of the world. Economists currently debate what amount of government interference is optimal in creating a strong economy, but there are almost no economists who argue that no government interference is desirable.

Laissez-faire was the dominant view in economics in the 18th and 19th centuries because, (1) economics was a very young science and did not have the levels of data which confirm that some government oversight is necessary and (2) because businesses pressed for laissez-faire systems based on the problems with mercantilism. When economic and humanitarian crises began in the early 20th century, governments worldwide became more economically interventionist with some positive and some negative results.

What is the current law that affects the goods Americans buy and what would a laissez-faire economist think of it?

The WTO world trade organization would probably tell the United States to cease and desist protectionist measures that run counter to the agreements signed. A laissez-faire economist has a liberal view of goods and services thus it would not sit well with a laissez faire economist

How did laissez faire relate to big business?

Laissez-faire literally translates into "let do," but what is meant by that is "let people do as they think best." By this system, government "let [big businesses] do" by placing no restrictions on business and foreign trade, the idea being that business and economy would blossom and flourish with no government interference.

What is laissez-faire racim?

From Wikipedia:Laissez-Faire Racism (a.k.a. symbolic racism) is closely related to color-blind racism and covert racism, and is theorized to encompass an ideology that blames minorities for their poorer economic situations, viewing it as the result of cultural inferiority.[1][2] The term is used largely by scholars of whiteness studies, who are critical of this theorized ideology, while no one does or would self-identify as holding it.And I think you mean Racism, not racim.
