It is quite complex however I'll attempt to elucidate the key points simply.

Israel receive on average around $3 billion in US foreign aid annually, a figure which is gradually increasing over time. This is both an official figure and quite a conservative one, considering the CIA's budget is secret and there is no telling how much additional money Israel receives through such black op channels.

Other on-the-record handouts are the little-known military "loans" that go to Israel each year which are never repaid, plus 6 million gallons of unleaded gas annually.

So, why so much foreign aid? Well, there are number of reasons; one being that Israel has declared itself a "Democracy" in the Middle East, being haplessly thrust amidst other "terrorist" nations which refuse to kowtow to our hawkish Western influence. What this basically means is that, as long as Israel maintains their veneer of "Democracy", they will always have an advantageous influence on Western politics, particularly via the UN which was responsible for overseeing the founding of Israel in 1948. The truth is of course that Israel is the result of annexed Palestinian land. The founding of a Jewish state in the ME meant that hundreds of thousands of Arab Palestinians were forced from their own lands so that "Israel" could be claimed by European migrants of Jewish faith. This exile of Arabs is historically known as the Palestinian Diaspora. These Palestinians are today mostly labelled Terrorists, when indeed they are simply those who wish to reclaim their home. The political language used as a result of Israeli influence on the West is such that the Jews are popularly perceived as the rightful owners of the land, and the Arabs are simply psychopathic warlords who wish them damned on some religiously-inspired whim. This illusory simulacra incentivises many nations to financially support Israel, whilst also serving to justify shoring up the popularity of an ongoing Western military presence in face of all the perceived threats in the ME.

In a psychological sense, after World War II the Western world has become almost universally sympathetic to the idea of Jewish statehood, making it a cakewalk for the Israeli's to not only insinuate themselves into favourable positions with Western allies but to also maintain a positive or passive image to the public at large (regardless of the atrocities they might carry out against their neighbours).

Another key reason for so much aid is that Israel has probably the strongest lobby in US politics, and this influence alone has the power to help or hinder processes and decision making in terms of US foreign policy and military spending. Africa has no such influence on US foreign policy and are thus, unfortunately, much less of a priority. Furthermore, there is a religious undertow to Israel's relationship to the West, and the US especially. At the heart of this relationship we have the Israeli Middle East agenda sharing a common objective with that of fundamentalist Christian politicians in the West, primarily with aims of Nation building by virtue of "democratising" Arabic lands so that Israel defences can be secured, and with it, the surrounding oil fields and other Natural Resources, like minerals. The propaganda machine has therefore in the past two decades become wont to skewering Arabs as "Terrorists" or Israel as falling prey to "Terrorism" (except for when the Arabs are being used to fight FOR the ME agenda, then they are simply labelled "Freedom Fighters" or "Rebels") Many US politicians have dual Israeli-US citizenships and the common presence of such individuals is testament to the powerful Zionist influence in our Government today. Because the US is considered at its most foundational core of identities, a Christian nation, of course their politicians and thus the public are apologetic to the whims of Israel and its various lobbyists, who together represent a Jewish majority in the Middle East. This is particularly true when many US politicians, including members of Congress, are financed by pro-Israeli and Zionist lobby groups such as AIPAC.

The MO of AIPAC and pressure groups like them, is to finance politicians in this way so as they are able to influence foreign policy, shore up interest in Congress, exercise thinktanks such as Project For A New American Century, and effectively alter public perception in such a way as to render Israel not only apparent "victims" of "Terrorism", but also strong commercial and political allies of all Western Nations (via propaganda).

Many a political campaign for presidential candidates have been backed and funded by Zionist interests, African interests by comparison are so far out in the periphery as to be virtually voiceless. Additionally, many Zionist Jews own corporate media outfits such as ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, UPN, The Washington Post, NY Times, Wall St Journal, Time Mag, People Mag, etc. Not to mention their influence is also prevalent in Hollywood. These are their primary means of manipulating public opinion and garnering support for their Middle East agendas.

One such agenda actually did span into Libya, Africa, where the successful ousting of Gaddafi took place in 2011. Gaddafi may have been a dictator but he was a dictator far different from others, having brought Libya to a status where it functioned without a single loan from the Zionist owned IMF or World Bank. Libya's central bank was 100% owned by the Libyan Government. In short Libya was a debt free nation under Gaddafi. In 1951 Libya was the poorest country in the world. Before US and NATO troops invaded Libya, it had the highest standard of living in Africa and a literacy rate of 83%. It was also called the Switzerland of the African continent. One of the first things the (CIA-Mossad backed) "rebels" did was to change the Libyan central bank to a western type system. I'll leave it for the reader to assume who the real instigators of these military coups are. So perhaps Africa is a priority after all, albeit for all the wrong reasons.

To summarise, Public Relations and Lobbying have a lot to do with Israel's command of US policies and foreign aid, as does controlling the general flow of information. A simple reiteration would be: the more sabre-rattling from militant Israel via their pressure groups in the US, the more impetus to lobby in Congress, the easier American politicians (bought off by AIPAC) acquiesce to furnishing more foreign aid and weapons. Israeli Zionists pull at the purse-strings by insinuating themselves into financially auspicious positions within banking and big business, their lobby groups meanwhile practically buy off politicians and influence media, via the Western propaganda machine, albeit just enough to effect both how much money their homeland in the ME receives in kind, and how much favour is curried by the Western majority; both in the political theatre and to the voting citizenry. This is all notwithstanding the Zionists on Wall Street who are responsible for the GFC and creating speculative bubbles.

The underlying flaw in US-Israel foreign policy is in the fact that everything sent to Israel in the form of financial aid is ultimately a violation of the Symington Amendment to the Foreign Appropriations Act and the Glenn Act., both of which forbid such aid to any nation in possession of nuclear weapons technology that has not signed the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty and does not allow IAEA inspections. Despite this, Zionist lobbies see that annual foreign aid keeps flooding into Israel with impunity. According to Lieutenant-General Gabi Ashkenazi, Israel's Army Chief of Staff, in the past few years US taxpayers have contributed more to the Israeli defense budget than Israeli taxpayers themselves. In turn, Israel continues to bomb civilians in Palestine with the resources and weaponry paid for by the Western Joe Average. In a sense, Western taxpayers are financing Israeli terrorism.

A quote apropos of Zionist influence:

"Israel controls the U.S. Senate. The Senate is subservient, much too much; we should be more concerned about U.S. interests rather than doing the bidding of Israel. The great majority of the Senate of the U.S. - somewhere around 80% - is completely in support of Israel; anything Israel wants; Israel gets. This has been demonstrated time and again, and this has made [foreign policy] difficult for our government." - Senator J. William Fulbright on CBS Face the Nation, April 15, 1973.

Note: Whether or not all this foreign aid actually contributes to the growth of Israel's economy is a topic of contentious debate, although in light of the statistics, it would seem fool to argue that the Israeli citizenry benefit that much from it. Considering all of Israeli taxpayer's money goes towards the nation's Military, we can then guess who benefits the most from US foreign aid. In the 1950's-60's Israel was growing at the average rate of 5.6%, more or less the same as Hong Kong and similar sized economies which continued to grow afterwards. In 1973 Israel began receiving US foreign aid and after that, Israel's average annual growth rate plummeted to around 1.5% over the next 25 years. Also, the cultural ramifications of such aid sees in Israel a stumped rate of diversification, the reliance upon foreign aid essentially means that there is no real incentive for Israel to have to seek cooperation with many other countries in trade and commerce. This is another contributing factor to their stunted economic growth.

Over all, foreign aid to Israel is illegal, amoral, and economically deleterious to both Israeli and US taxpaying citizens...

Zionist Political Pressure/Lobby groups of note are: AIPAC, AEI, ADL, JINSA, SA, NIPP, ZOA and AJC.
