Best Answer

Because it's the biggest planet. More mass = more gravity.

ANSWER:According to Newton's law of universal gravitation, the force of gravity is directly proportional to the product of their masses ( i.e between the two mases- Jupiter and the object). So a higher mass results in higher force of gravity. Since jupitre posses the greatest mass it holds the strongest gravitational force and field.

Jupiter has the strongest gravitational pull because of its large size. The more mass an object has the more gravitational pull it creates. Every mass gives off a gravitational pull to the things around it, even people.

Be a little more specific. Jupiter contains the largest gravity field of all PLANETS in the solar system, while the sun has the largest gravity field of all BODIES in the solar system. Since gravity is determined by mass, Jupiter is the strongest of the planets simply because it is the largest, as well as the most dense. The sun is far more massive than Jupiter and as such has a greater gravitational pull.
