They tried to kill him for many reasons, of them are:
- to defend their authorities and interests
- because prophet Muhammad didn't encourage slavery
- because he called that all people are equal and they are ranked only according their piety and good deeds.
- because he called for equal human rights irrelevant to Gender or color, ... etc
- because he refused their offer to him to be the richest, the ruler, and to marry him with the most beautiful and honorable woman in the Arabic lands but in return he cease calling for Islam.
