the duct is probably clogged up, sometimes leaves, or critters like mice get in there. another possible reason could be that the diverter is stuck in the closed position.
Temp blend door actuator malfunction.
because someone was fiddling with the passenger climate control and now that baffle has stuck in the cold position . I had a 1997 buick lesabre which had the climate control functioning until a friend started adjusting it a few times then it became stuck in the cold position but only for the passenger side It is likely a mechanical bind in the baffle .
Has a bad blend doot actuator. It is under the dash near the ducts, and it looks very hard to change.
Dissconnect the battery for 1 hour and reconnect, should re-set the flaps!
Our car had this problem. Answer was a new A/C computer needed.
heater control valve is bad on the drivers side.
Your need to add more r134a Freon. When the levels are not sufficient to cool both sides the car default sends all the cold air to the passenger side and not the driver's side.
I had that problem too. when I checked my freon, it was low so I recharged it and was able to get cold air back on drivers side. then a month later, the seal went out on my AC compressor. So I would guess your freon is low and AC compressor is (or is about to) start leaking
Bad "blend door" actuator or stuck blend door on the driver's side.
I get hot air coming out of my air conditioner on the passenger side, while I get cold air coming out the drivers side. Can you tell me why and how do I find the schematic to fix it?
It may a door in the vet may not be opening as the passenger side does. The doors sometimes have springe the move them.
When my a/c system is low on refrigerant, it blows hot on drivers side, cold on passenger side of the dashboard. This is a 1997 Buick Ultra. Recharging the system solves the problem.
