Depending on how old Ur heater is and what type of plumbing u got normality rust a reddish color comes from Ur heater u also get it from old iron pipe
Dirty water can mean several things. If you are talking about turbidity(cloudy) water then here are the most common reasons. If only in the hot water, probably you hot water heater. These are big steel tanks that corrode and over time build up sediment. This transfers into your hot water lines from the tank.
Hot water heater the we just rerouted from bathroom to attic isn't filling... no leaks and cold water works and the tank will only fill when cold water is going ... anyone know anything about that?
No, the people of Britain did not have to drink dirty water before the Romans arrived, Britain had clear, unpolluted rivers and streams, so clean water was available. The only problem for the native Brits was access to the water. Their towns and villages had to be built near to a fresh water supply. When the Romans arrived they brought their system of aqueducts enabling the water to come to the people instead of the…
Why does my cold water pipe make loud ringing noise only when the weather is cold and when we run the hot tap?
The boiling point of water depends only on pressure, not ambient temperature. The only correlation between climate temperature and boiling point would come about from the fact that cold climates in temperate parts of the Earth are usually at higher elevations than warmer climates and therefore have lower atmospheric pressure.
What would cause your shower to not get as hot as it used to and not stay as hot when other bathroom and kitchen faucets are fine?
The only thing that could cause this is outside air has leaked into the house and is cooling off the pipes. If the water heater is producing the temp that is set on the thermostat, then it will come out the same temp everywhere, unless you just think the faucets are getting hotter. If your water heater is electric, the elements could be getting bad or dirty from hard water, which will cause inefficient heating. But…
There are various factors that contribute to thedirtiness of the water in the more-deprived areas of Africa. The two main factors are lack of cleaning facilities and lack of water transport. As there are no pipes (due to money factors), the only way to get water is straight from a well. This, in turn, creates dirty water.
Most likely it's a collection of dirty sludge called magnetite partly restricting water flow through though the radiator. Only way around it it to flush it out. Best way is to drain the radiator , remove it, take it out side & flush it out with a hosepipe. Wet & dirty to do it yourself. Might be easier to get a plumber.
Where Did the Water Come From? The cold changes hydrogen and oxygen atoms to water. Water molecules each consist of two hydrogen atoms and an oxygen atom, which are both gases in our atmosphere, surrounding us every day. The cold on the outside of the container caused by the melted ice inside the container changes these two gases to water. *I'm only in year 7 so this is a very basic explanations. with any short…
Put the mini white potatoes in a large container, put cold water to cover, boil for 6 minutes only, transfer immediately into ice cold water to stop further cooking.Leave them in water for 15 minutes and then do whatever you may do with them. if you boil for too long , they will come out too soft and mushy and you do not want that.
If water is only drawn from the cold faucet, then no, the water heater is not involved. However, if water is drawn from the hot faucet- even for a few seconds- hot water IS withdrawn from the heater, and fresh cold water drawn in to be heated- even if the hot water did not make it all the way through the pipe to the faucet- and the water heater will work to heat that fresh…
