The engine Burn out
You probably spilled some oil on or near the engine, making it burn when the engine heats up.
if your engine is knocking that means you need oil. go get an oil change or add a quart asap or the engine will burn out
Several things can cause an engine to burn oil, and all of them are pretty normal in an engine with lots of miles. Oil control rings are often a problem. They are on the piston and while they can be replaced, you'd be better off buying a new engine. Other things that can cause an engine to burn oil are valve seals (common) and valve guides (uncommon). If you have a high mileage engine, I wouldn't worry unless you have a big cloud of black smoke coming out the exhaust. Best thing you can do is just check the oil often.
Yes and it is normal.
Too much oil will damage your engine as not enoght oil too will damage your engine. for example; To much oil will burn your oil rims inside the engine causing your motor to start smoking thru the exhaust system. Exc. Not enough oil will burn your bearings inside the engine causing your motor to start knocking and make noises. exc.
No, but burning oil will give you bad spark plugs.
Because a 2 Cycle Engine burns the oil in the gas, and in a 4 cycle engine, it sits in the oil pan, and it isn't supposed to burn it at all.
No engine should burn oil, not even yours. There is either a problem with the pistion rings, are the valve seals. It could even be a bad intake manifold gasket but it should not use any oil.
too much fuel, excessive oil consumption
Could be a bad oil ring seal ~Angelic Beauty~
Why is this Question even posted? If they haven't learned to change their oil on a regular basis let them burn up their engine! Why is this Question even posted? If they haven't learned to change their oil on a regular basis let them burn up their engine!
