∙ 10y agoThere's no definite answer to this but once a few people start voicing their opinion, loads of people who know nothing about the topic hop on the band wagon. I think you'll find that quite a few people who say they hate Nickelback haven't actually heard their music.

They have good songs that actually mean something. Its just that the Rock genre is so easy to target these days. People also hate them because they're a great, successful band.
