Hot water will freeze faster than vinegar because the hot water atoms will slow quickly and the vinegar will take longer to freeze because it contains an oil like sustance which take lionger to freeze.

Cold air and hot water makes water freeze faster simply because the hot water is steaming and so the result is that there is less water to freeze. hot water = steam = less water less water = faster freeze cold air = faster freeze

I do not know the answer but i think hot water will freeze faster than cold water. wizgirl says~ i do not believe that water will freeze faster. that does not make sense at all.

which water will freeze faster? cold water with salt or hot water with salt????

Yes. Hot water freeze faster than cold see Mpemba Effect.

No, hot water does not freeze faster since hot water has molecules that move around faster than frozen water. It would take a higher cooling point before it would freeze.

hot water freezes the fastest because it evaporates and there is less water to freeze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cold water freezes faster because hot water has to cool down to the freezing temperature before it can freeze.

it depends how hot the water is

It has been proven that hot water freezes faster than cold water.

You put hot water in the vinegar and it dissolves it faster.

The first liquid that will freeze will be the Cold Water. The Hot Water will have to lose its heat, while the oil, vinegar and milk are saturated water solutions. That means they will freeze at a lower temperature than plain water.

Cold water will freeze faster. Because the freezing point of water is 0oC, water that is closer to that point will freeze faster then hot water. This is because it will require less time to lower the temperature to the freezing point.

It freezes faster when it's hot, because the water precipitation makes the volume the water takes up less, thus allowing it to freeze faster. -Zero (Black ops user)

Salt because water especially hot water will make it freeze faster.

Hot and cold water and a freezer and a timer or stopwatch

This is a pervasive misunderstanding. It, in fact, does not freeze faster. Since the water is initially "hot", compared to "ordinary" water, the rate of temperature change is faster as it approches freezing (basic thermodynamics), however, hot water has a bigger range to travel than ordinary water

Hot water lines are smaller thus in the winter they freeze faster

I think what you meant to ask was "Does cold water freeze faster than hot water?" It does because its temperature doesn't have to change as much.

Yes it does. Cold water freeze slower than normal or hot water.

Hot water can in fact freeze faster than cold water for a wide range of it has to do everything that the initially cooler water has to do, plus a little more.

If you mean, compared with cold water, it doesn't. Hot water has to cool down first, before it freezes.

AnswerHot water doesn't freeze fasterAccording to, hot water freezes faster than cold water. But I do not have any idea about your question.lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

The warmer water is, the longer it takes to freeze. Likewise, adding salt lowers the freezing point, making it longer to freeze.

well because it is very hot because of the vinger pour in to it
