because their parents dont have enough common sense to get up off their butts and get their children out of the foster care system
No this is up to the foster parents to decide.
In the state of Illinois, as well as in most states, the DCFS can remove children and place them in foster care if they are determined to be in the care of a parent who is mentally unstable.
Because many children have parents who can not or will not take care of them properly or at all. There are not enough adoptive parents to adopt all children without parents.
yes
because some foster parents and group homes are cruel and very rude to children
No, they should first get their parents's permitions!
If the child's parents are no longer in the legal picture, then there are steps to follow in order to adopt the child. Many foster children are in foster care while their parents get education, jobs and/or get off of drugs, so the child or children are not available for adoption.
Foster care enables the state to remove children from poor living conditions. Most children in foster care are victims of physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, etc. Placing a child in foster care gives the child a safe place to go until the parents either get the help they need to get their kids back or until the parents rights can be terminated and the kids adopted.
yes if their dying or sick. but this is my opinion.
Yes we have many children in foster care and in other situations without parents.
