My 2005 aveo won't start
i have a 2005 Chevy Aveo. I've had it since 2007 and it has been a great car and continues to be a great car. I drive a lot and have put over 100,000 miles on it. Just like any car you have to take care of it. Aveos are pretty cheap cars. and mine has been kicking along with no problems so far. she handles good too not a lot of power when the airs on but a lead foot is good for that :) HAPPY owner of my AVEO
Battery is at full strength, you turn the key, and the engine won't turn over.
way is my crank sensor over heating on my 2005 colbalt
are you getting spark?
One reason a 1993 Chevy Lumina may turn over but not start could be the battery. It may also be the spark plugs.
The manufacturer says to change timing belt at 60,000 miles. This is an interference type engine so if it breaks it can cause major engine damage. My 2005 Aveo has 110,000 miles on it and I still haven't changed it, mainly because Pep Boys wants $700.00 to do it. The belt on my sister's Aveo broke before 60,000 miles and it took over $1000.00 to fix it. My answer would be definitely replace it before 60,000 miles if you can afford it.
Two common reasons why an engine will crank over, but not start: There is no spark. There is no gasoline.
will 02 03 04 Chevy trailblazer doors fit a 2005 Chevy trailblazer The body style is the same from '02 to the end of production in '09. Side moldings changed over the years and are just glued on.
check for spark from the number one plug wire if no spark then start with the coil
Does it turn over? Does it have fuel, spark, compression?
Probably the fuel pump.
Start looking at fire and gas. Trace these two that are the main problems.
