It sounds like you have a fuel delivery problem or no spark. First check your fuel pump and make sure it is working and then try the fuel filter. If those are ok see if you are getting spark to the plugs. You can do it in any order. But this should be done first, replace the fuel pump rely, $15 part. It cost me $300 and a rental car to find out about the rely. Hope it helps.

The crankshaft itself will turn the opposite way to the bolt.
Start with the basics, you need fuel, compression and spark. You are missing one of those.

To disable the anti-theft system on a 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS by locking and unlocking the driver's side door. You can also put the key in the ignition and turn it halfway. Leave it in the position for 10 minutes and start the car.
