your injectors are blocked replace or clean id clean because it cost's £167 each for the injectors new

yes and no its not a drug as in something used inhale, degest, or inject. but its something not many people can go without going though. usually people use peer pressure when you dont want to do something. people use peer pressure to GET people to use drugs, but its not exactly an actual drug. and... Technically the 7.3L doesn't have a injection pump only a high pressure oil pump. Rule of thumb is that an injection pump delivers fuel to the engine and is a very larger cumbersome unit that's very complicated and houses it's own camshaft, plungers, rack sensor, pre-stroke actuator, and in theory is a small engine in it's self. Due to the fact that the 7.3L design uses high pressure oil to pop off the injectors it is commonly thought to be linked to the fuel system which it is not at all. But is what drives the injectors to inject fuel into the cyl. It's called a HEUI (Hydraulic, Electronic, Unit, Injector) injector and has a very unique way of working. Engine manufacturer Caterpillar was the designer of this style fuel injector and International mirrored it's design almost to the Tee. Even though it's a very complex system the bottom line is that it works and works very well when service is kept up. Hope this helps and clarifies the difference between the two systems.
