When you have a crunch time, don't eat a lot of sugar because it will make you sleepy. In terms of quality allocation, make sure to spend time and energy commensurate with the outcome. If a test only is 20% of your grade, spend less time on it that a test that is 50% of your grade. If you feel confident about a course, spend less time on rehearsing material. Try and find out if you can re-do certain tests or courses without upsetting your year plan. If so, keep them as a reserve; if you need to spend a lot of time on another class, spend less on courses you can easily re-do, or take new tests for.
