mebbe there is somert wrong wiv the enging, or mebbe it is just normal because it is an old engine!
If from the front end and tends to do it more as you are traveling faster it is you front wheel bearings.
The tire may have a broken belt, There may be worn parts in the front end, perhaps the van needs an alignment. It might be as simple as the wheels need balancing.

could be a wheel bearing or a tie-rod but those are only a educated guesses Possibly something to do with your suspension, or it could be an axle. My family owned a van that did the exact same thing and it turned out to be the axle.
