3 possibilities, either it got disconnected inside the steering, the horn itself gave out, or one of the fuses is blown... if the steering wheel is not oem then it might have been removed altogether!
have u taken the steering wheel off, if u did, their are 2 one inch springs that will fall out of their holes, these springs make contact on metal when u push horn,if u lost them u can use the springs off a writing pen, i did, i replace horns and horn relay until i figured that those 2springs that fell out went to the horn
nope
you have to remove the dashboard top. It is located in the right hand side of the dash. It is a little work but you can get it out.
the horn on my '97 Nissan 200sx doesn't work. how do I fix it?
fuse
Look under front bumper, left and right side, you have a high and low tone, crawl under bumper and have someone honk horn and you will find,j.c. Whitney has them,I bought a pair and they work great.
It takes just a little bit of work, but yes it will fit. I am assuming you are talking about the Nissan hardbody pickup. I've seen it done multiple times
Blown/no fuse, bad relay, or a bad switch
It'll fit, but it probably won't work very well, as a 1996 transmission would be wholly electronic, and the 1990 transmission would not.
Does your horn actually work?? OR you might have dis-engaged the horn from working from your remote.....see your manual on how to engage it!
fuel sending relay is bad.
remove two bolts inside vertical corner of bed. They are both Phillips head screwdriver (will work as long as they're not corroded) or I believe 10mm.
