Human urine does not typically have a strong smell. The first urination of the day (after first waking) will normally have a stronger odor than others, but a persistent, strong, disagreeable smell may be an indication of a health issue. However, it may also be related to diet; some foods contain compounds that are excreted in the urine and produce a foul smell (asparagus is a notable offender).
If this just started happening, and you haven't made any recent significant changes in your diet, you may want to see a physician to rule out any health concerns ... one thing that can cause foul-smelling urine is liver failure, which is a serious condition. ("The liver's important. You need it to live. Hence the name.")
Probably just an infection. Get a urine routine test done. If you do have an infection, get antibiotics. And yeah..drink lots of water...like 2/3 liters a day. That should clear it up.
