Check the following...........
1. A/C heater control doors.
2. A/C heater controller.
3. Trash in the heater box.
4. Partly clogged up heater core.
You need to start out by checking the a/c-heater controller and the a/c-heater doors behind the dash for proper operation..............
The heater blower for a 2002 Chevy Silverado is mounted under the dash. It is on the passenger side, in the heater housing.
The block heater in a 2002 Passat GLS is behind the dash. It is on the passenger side of the car.
The heater inlet hose is on the firewall. On the 2002 Silverado it is close to the bottom of the firewall on the passenger side.
