Assuming the tires were properly balanced and a rim isn't bent, it's possible the CV joints are worn.
on my windstar speedo only worked when it wanted to I replaced the speedo head 2 years later still works great
According to the 2001 Ford Windstar Owner Guide : ( Motorcraft MERCON-V is used in the automatic transaxle / transmission )
I was looking at the 2002 Ford Windstar 0wners Manual ( and the Ford parts website ) and they both show it as being the ( 4 F 50 N ) transaxle ( transmission )
On a 1998 Ford Windstar ( 3.0 and 3.8 liter V6 engines ) It uses a 4 speed automatic / overdrive transaxle ( transmission )
The ELECTRIC fuel pump is INSIDE the fuel tank It is installed through an access hole on top of the tank On your Ford Windstar
No , the 2002 Ford Windstar Owner Guide shows Motorcraft MERCON - V - automatic transmission fluid in the automatic transaxle
The same kind that is originally installed, if it uses fuses. The amperage is on the cover.
The passenger window on a windstar is best installed by a professional. However, if you have some auto repair experience, you can easily remove the door panel on the door by removing the screws and then you will be able to install the new window.
perhaps it is the fuel filter needs replacing....i believe there are 2 of them.
I've had my 2001 Windstar since new and do my own maintenance / repairs - I don't know of any factory installed grease fittings. If there are any, like on the ball joints or outer tie rods, that'll be from having been replaced.
The first thing I think of is the temperature blend door motor. I believe it's much like the Windstar (which I've had first hand experience with) and can cause intermittent problems. See "Related Questions" below for more
Yes. The mirror on the 2001 Ford Windstar is the same mirror found on the 1999 Ford Windstar. They are interchangeable.
