There are several possible reasons why your car's engine stalls:
1. Failing ICM Ignition control module
2. Failing CPS crankshaft position sensor
3. Failing ECM engine control module
4. Not enough fuel pressure to open the fuel injectors

have a 89 Chevy astro van starts good till warms up the start to chock and then stalls
Because its a Chevy corsica not a ford corsica!!!!!
The same thing happened with my a987 Chevy Celebrity 2.8L V6. Its problem turned out to be failed fuel injectors. I replaced 3 out of the 6 injectors and it has been fine since.
Check the fuel filter. If it is the original, change it. If that doesn't help, find a mechanic.
