it takes time to get the data inside and does type of re-installation
Remove the Memory Card from the camera and put it in a Card Reader, and connect this to the USB port of your computer, where it will show up as another drive. (It is then up to you whether you want to 'COPY' then so they are still left on the Card, or 'MOVE' them to the new location so the Card is empty.)
The option will be in the camera settings :)
You have to turn your Olympus camera all the way off before you take the memory card out and put a new one in. If you do not, there is the chance that the camera will automatically format the disc. This means that everything that you have on it will be erased. Getting these pictures back is sometimes impossible. If you turn the camera off first, this cannot happen. Your pictures will be safe.
Yes, you will draw every time you are instructed to, either by your turn draw or card effect, regardless of the amount of cards in hand at the time.
You use the USB cable that came with your camera and plug it into the computer. Turn on the camera and the computer will install the program for the camera and you can view your photos. You can also take the memory card out of your camera, put it in a reader or USB port on the computer and the computer will read the card. When your pictures come up title them, and then save them to a folder.
You put down one card each turn, unless told to draw a card or are skipped.
Plug your camera or card reader into your mac via a usb cable. Then open up iphoto and click the import all photos button. It may take a while to import if the file sizes are larger.
My daughter dropped her Lumix and this problem then occurred, I researched it on the Internet, and found various suggestions. e.g. apply slight pressure to the lens when the camera starts, wipe outside of lens, remove batteries etc. etc. etc. etc.. I tried everything - every time the camera was turned on the message appeared. So I took out the batteries and sd card and stuck the camera in a drawer and bought a new camera. Now the interesting bit - one month later, out of interest, I got out the camera, stuck in the battery and an old SD card (I used the Lumix card in my new camera) - AND it started up with no problems!! The problem had gone away - why - different SD card? Some internal memory finally "forgot" it had a problem?, perhaps it just had a long rest? - no idea. Anyway its OK now, and I now have 2 cameras. Weird - thank goodness I did not bin it! So don't despair - try it - it may work for you. ps. With the original sd card in, it still works ok.
how do I turn on my camera on computer

Very few Vivitar cameras come with Mac OS X support the software is often for Windows computers. Try connecting the camera to the Mac with the USB cable, turn the camera on, and see if iPhoto or the Image Capture application recognises it. If the camera has a removable memory card then the addition of a card reader may help. Specific details of camera and version of Mac OS X would help.
leave the camera so when you next turn it on and charge it, it will charge.
