If your car makes a clicking sound when you try to start it, try to jump the battery. If that starts it, check the electrical system and if it was the battery, replace the battery. If jumping it does not fix it, have a mechanic look at it.
if clicking during starting, solenoid, but car should not start with a bad solenoid.
Perhaps there is a rock stuck in a tire.
try checking your fuses and fuse-able links
It is likely to be the starter is not working.
sounds like you need new belts Your brake pads could also be wet
sounds like a flat battery get a battery charger or jumpstart it with jump leads
I've just started having this problem too on my 2002 Malibu. I have found a lot of intermitted turn signal issues, especially for the 2000-01 Malibu, but I am still searching for info on the clicking (turn signal) sound from the dash.
It is low on freon.
could be your crank shaft
check for cats
it's probably the head gaskets.
my car is clicking and wont turn over what could it be
A clicking sound when you try to start the car is a dead battery. It may be that the alternator is not charging it properly.
press the turning signal idiot
try checking your fuses and fuse-able links
since the car will crank after a few tries, your starter is the likely culprit. i regularly replace Camry starters for this exact symptom
It is likely to be the starter is not working.
It's your car cooling down.....
If the starter isn't working, the car will not crank at all. When you turn the key you will either get a clicking sound (which could also mean a dead battery), or you will hear the sound of an electric motor spinning and nothing else.
