How would you know about my car? Get literate!
The friendly answer is worn engine mounts or to high idle speed.
You didnt mention degree of difficulty so I'm going to with a general answer here. If it's hard to shift from park to reverse and you park at an angle on hill and you don't set the parking brake, then it'll be somewhat hard to get the car out of park. This is because you're taking off the transmission parking prawl with a degree of force when normally the brakes on the car should hold the car in place. Other than this you might have transmission problems. I have this problem on my manual transmission. Going from anything to reverse doesnt work, I have to shift it to reverse, hit the gas a little and let off the clutch a bit, and then pull the gear shifter back out and into reverse again.
you put the gear in reverse and slowly let up the clutch until the car starts moving. then just ride the clutch so you don't kill the engine.
GP shift is the reverse of street shift.....so 1st is up the rest down.
its hard, but you have to max out the charger -1 learn how to perfect shift each shift - 2 use nos before you perfect shift - 3 and hopefully push over 6000 points, its hard, ive tried 20+ times its gt me so addicted
The car is not actually in reverse, it only looks so because the linkage between your transmission and the shift lever is broken or stretched. Most likely the tranmission is fine, but the linkage will need to be looked at or replaced.
It means that you do not have stick shift in your car, your car shifts gears for you, you don't have to do it, so basically if you don't have a stick shift car you have an automatic transmission car.
So you don't have to shift.
does it shift into reverse and wont drive? if so its your tranny it needs to be replaced
Yes, because there are flatter spots on the shells. It is easier when the eggs are hard-boiled, so the yolks don't shift around.
If you mean the transmission itself shifts forward, it is because the transmission is suspended, so when the transmission is put in reverse gear the momentum will push the transmission forward. Now, if the car pulls forward when put in reverse, this means there is a transmission problem. This may just indicate the shift linkages need adjustment, or that the transmission has a major problem and needs repairing. Take it to a shop and have it checked.
Can you shift gears? IF you can its at least working. I guess your question means the opposite. So if you feel slippage when shifting gears or cannot operate in one gear (reverse, for example), the transmission is about to give out.
if you car doesnt have the brake sensor then yes if so then all you need to do is disconnect it. However I dont recomend this seeing as a kid could put it in drive or reverse with no trouble at all. This is why it was invented.
