Why your phone keep turning off?

I have a cell phone ...It is an AT&T phone and when I text ,I get the service is unavailable. While I was using it...It would say that the text message wasnt sent. I was charging the phone and when I took off the charger the phone wouldn't stay on. I took the back off and took the battery out and then put it back in and then it would work and then it wouldn't. So can you tell me what is happening to my cell phone? Do I need to have AT&T look at it? Thank-you very much Deene Janysek

Your phone may turn off randomly because while it's in your bag, it's buttons could get pressed and accidentally turn off, or your phone may be low on battery therefore, your phone turns off because it doesn't have enough energy to function.

Loose battery or wire or quite often the software needs reloading.

Turn It Off For A Hour Or So. Then Turn It Back On. It Should Start To Work. If Not. Take The Battery And SIM Out. If It Still Doesn't Work, Go To The Place To Got It From.

It doesn't really turn off, it just goes into "stand-by" to make the battery last longer. If it turned off, then it would drop your call.
