Chewing Gum doesn't dissolve in the mouth because the ingredients in the gum have a formula that the makers of gum took for from plants and so it won't dissolve. It also has chemicals.
Try chewing the same piece of gum for a few hours and see what happens. It turns into liquid
Chewing gum doesn't stick to your teeth because the gum becomes slick with saliva. The teeth and gums are also slippery preventing the gum from sticking inside the mouth.
because your saliva makes it not stick and it keeps it wet. When it is outside your mouth for a while it dries and is sticky.
Probably Saliva. It's not proven. O_O just saying what I think.
because the saliva in your mouth makes your mouth wet so it wont stick
Because gum is made from chicle (a latex). It's just like a rubber band wouldn't dissolve when you chew it, neither does latex.
Because it contains a form of rubber
Chewing gum can and does stick to dental work in the teeth. Teeth are usually covered with a biofilm of bacteria that prevent the gum from sticking.Ê
