My dog whimpers and his eyes fill up with tears when I leave. It's very heartbreaking. Different person: I don't have a dog but when I leave our neighbor's house after playing with their 3 dogs they whimper and their eyes get as big as saucers. One of they dogs has an eye problem, and his eyes always water, but otherwise the dogs don't cry REAL tears. You know, the wet ones! They just act sad. My answer is no, I disagree with the 1st answer. Dogs do not cry tears.
