Why don't brake lights work on a 1989 AWD stick shift Toyota Corolla wagon though regular tail and other lights work and all bulbs and fuses have been checked or replaced?
replace brake light switch on brake pedal if it hasn't been done try that
According to Toyota, it does not need to be replaced, Toyota has inconveniently put it inside the gas tank to make it "un-serviceable". But with fuel these days they are not as bad as they used to be so I wouldn't worry about it to much, I have driven 84k miles on my 2006 Corolla and still runs awesome. R. Chang
