Why f1 drivers keep ice in car?
Because temperatures of the track and in the car can go up to around 50oC!
As per the FIA regulations, every F1 car must have a certain minimum/maximum weight and this weight is inclusive of the drivers weight. In case of drivers who are tall and well built, the teams may have to adjust the cars features to make sure that the net weight of the car does not exceed the prescribed limits. Hence it is very important to weigh the F1 drivers.
With no power steering and accelerations of up to 6gs, driving an F1 car is a huge physical feat. In addition the cars are so reliant on downforce, going slowly means that they lose most of their grip and the sheer power-weight ratio means the slightest mistake will send the car into a spin. F1 drivers - even the ones dragging a car round to come in last are hugely talented.

Yes. A F1 car has a clutch. It is not like a normal clutch that you see in a normal road car. In a normal car when you use the clutch, the engine power does not get transferred to the flywheel and propel the car whereas in a F1 car even when the clutch is used the power gets transferred to propel the car.
Scuderia Ferrari was founded in 1929, and raced for Alfa Romeo until 1939. Ferrari first competed in F1 in 1948 (the team's first F1 car was the Tipo 125 F1), making it the oldest team left in the championship and statistically the most successful one (with a record of 15 drivers' championships and 16 constructors' championships won).
I am only a Professional Karting and single seater driver, not a formula 1 driver, and I have seem to memorized all the F1 tracks, using simulators only. They do about 14 hours per weekend on a track. I do about 30 minutes on the PS3, and i can do it with my eyes closed. Those F1 drivers are special people also. So they can practically drive the car and shift with their eyes closed.
