Why is Garth Brooks holding out on iTunes in this DIGITAL world we live in now?
Because he's an idiot that wants people to download it for free from Kazaa
The iTunes store licenses the music they supply from the record labels who own the rights to distribute the music. If iTunes does not have a deal for some particular music then they cannot supply it. When Garth Brooks retired from the music business in 2001 he set up a deal that gave exclusive rights to Wal-Mart to distribute his music which has prevented iTunes, and others, from supplying it.
