There is much evidence that shows his policies are failing, and he does have some leanings that remind one of Socialism (i.e.Obamacare). He has the National media for the most part on board with him, and they do all they can to cover up his failings while maliciously attacking his opponents.

To say he is destroying America is a stretch, but he certainly is not doing much to help the situation.

He hasn't. Here is a short list of some of the President's accomplishments so far:

• Obama has overhauled the food safety system.
• Advanced women's rights in the work place.
• Ended Don't Ask, Don't Tell (DADT) in our military.
• Stopped defending DOMA in court.
• Passed the Hate Crimes bill.
• Appointed two pro-choice women to the Supreme Court.
• Expanded access to medical care and provided subsidies for people who can't afford it.
• Expanded the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
• Fixed the preexisting conditions travesty [and rescissions] in health insurance.
• Invested in clean energy.
• Overhauled the credit card industry, making it much more consumer-friendly.
• While Dodd-Frank bill was weak in many respects, it was still an extremely worthwhile start at re-regulating the financial sector.
• He created a Elizabeth Warren's dream agency: The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
• He's given help to our veterans.
• He got help for people whose health was injured during the clean-up after the 9/11 attacks.
• Killed Osama bin Laden.

There is no evidence that President Obama is intent on destroying anything, let alone the country. Political rhetoric can be very angry and prone to exaggeration: the president's opponents have accused him of all sorts of things, including trying to ruin the country, but just because they say these things does not make them true. It is part of politics for the opposition to make such accusations, as part of the effort to turn the public against the incumbent and vote him out of office. Many Republicans do disagree with President Obama's policies, which is certainly understandable in a two-party system. But deep down, most Republicans know that he is not trying to destroy the country.

No, there is no evidence that he will. You may have heard that from certain Republicans, as well as from many conservative talk show hosts; they have accused the president of failing and have said he will ruin the country, but this is political rhetoric, and not based in facts. While you may not agree with the president's policies, no objective analysis of his first term would say he has ruined the country (and given that he won re-election, a majority of Americans do not think he ruined the country either); and it is just as unlikely that he will ruin it in his second term.
