Well I am related to him but that is not important he first off was a president and at one point George Washington's assistant or what not and his cousin Sam Adams was in the Boston tea party he is also related to Marilyn Monroe so that's kinda cool

Adams helped shape early America. He was a lawyer and defended the men who were accused of shooting colonist in the Boston Massacre. He was very involved in congress and helped write the Declaration of Independence. When the war started he was sent to France with Franklin and Jefferson to get arms and money for the war. After he was involved in writing the constitution , was the first Vice President , and the second president. His writings on the formation and purpose of government still applies today , but few read his words .

John Adams was one of the early leaders in the Revolution. He lived in Boston which was the hotbed of the independence movement. After the war broke out, he was a key diplomat involved in getting help from France and recognition from Europe, He also helped negotiate the treaty that ended the war, served for 8 years as the first vice-president and went on to become the second US president.
