My theory is that Satan was created by God in order to create the world, and to create evolution, which would eventually give rise to humans, some of whom would be the servants of God. There is no answer to be known for your question. It is a matter of belief.

∙ 14y agoSatan was an angel, but he was so prideful that he wanted to be god. So Satan led a revolt against God in Heaven. But Satan was defeated and was banished into Hell by God. Satan had some other angels help him during the revolt and they were banished with him.
