A hero is someone who is admired for their courage and bravery and in the case of fantasy, someone with super powers, all of which sonic posesses. Sonic always stops eggman's diabolical plans of ruling the world with the help of his friend and his super speed at 767 mph on an averge. So yes I will say that Sonic the Hedgehog is a hero and a superhero as well.
