Bananas rot faster than apples because although both fruits will eventually be decomposed by bacteria, the banana is more exposed to these decomposers than an apple, causing it to rot faster than an apple.

i think bananas rot faster because it is ssofter and, therefore th air presses against the banana causing it to turn black this is why banana rots faster than apples or Oranges.Air causes bactiria to get on the banana,even though the bactieria is very harmful the banana takes out99% of bactiria before you eat it

because the atoms in the banana move faster when it gets warm and when they move faster the banana starts to change until it rots while apples and oranges hold there temperatures in there pits
