Incredibly deadly. Its one of the deadliest animal's alive. It's also said to be the deadliest snake to date. There is an anti venom though it bites very quickly. It's debated if the king cobra is more deadly but most agree the black mamba is one of the deadliest snakes to date.

A:

(If bitten and venom is injected)

The most venomous snake on earth is the Belcher's Sea Snake (Hydrophis Belcheri) or the Faint Banded Sea Snake, some consider the Inland Taipan (Oxyuranus microlepidotus) an/or the Beaked Sea Snake (Enhydrina schistosa) to be the most toxic, however, with recent and more accurate studies 2010 prove the Belcheri has a 100 times more toxic venom then the two above or any other snake on earth.

It has a paddle-like tail, breathes air and can hold it's breath up to 8 hours, a few milligrams of venom can kill over a thousand people.

It's habitat has a wide range in the South Pacific.

Excluding the Belcher's Sea Snake the next most venomous snakes on earth according to their venom rating are:

2- Inland Tiapan (Oxyuranus Microlepidotus).

3- Common Indian Krait (Bungarus Caeruleus).

4- Philippine Cobra (Naja Philippinensis).

5- King Cobra (Ophiophagus Hanna).

6- Russell's Viper (Vipera Russellii).

7- Black Mamba (Dendroaspis Polylepis).

8- Yellow Jawed Tommygoff (Bothrops Asper).

9- Multibanded krait (Bungarus Multicinctus).

10- Tigar Snake (Notechis Scutatus).

11- Jararacussu (Bothrops Jararacussu).

yes, obviously it is mostly found in African forests it is quite faster than Indian naga, and very venomous. Black Mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis).

His nasty serpent from southern and central Africa is actually a greenish-yellow or gray; its name comes from the color of its mouth. One of the quickest and largest deadly snakes, it averages 8 feet long but can grow to more than 14 feet. The black mamba preys on small mammals and birds, delivering small, fast bites. If it attacks a person, as little as two drops of its venom can cause dizziness, rapid heart rate, and shallow breathing. Some of its human victims have fallen into a coma and died.

Before antivenom, 100% fatal. It is very dangerous for many reasons but here are a few. 1st: Fast acting venom than can kill in less than 1/2 hour. 2. When it strikes, it delivers an average venom yield of 100mg when it only requires 10m to kill an adult human. 3. It is the fastest snake alive and often delivers multiple 100mg overdoses of venom. 4. Its venom is both neuro and cardio toxic, meaning not only does it paralzye your muscles (including your diaphram) it can also quickly shut down your heart. 5. It often strikes high (torso & face) providing you with no escape from it very very quick toxic symptoms. On and on...

In most cases, a Black mamba bite is a death sentence.

Black Mamba's are one of the worlds top 10 most venomous/poisonous snakes. As a result, they have no natural predators. However, Man has been killing them extensively due to its reputation. Humans encroach into forests that are inhabited by these snakes and due to fear of a venomous bite, humans usually kill Mamba's on sight. In spite of this, the Conservation Status of this snake is "Lease Concern" which means that they are found in large numbers in their natural habitat.
