titration is the best method to determine the unknown concentration of the unknown. if ur known is a solid then you would have to used distilled water to ensure it is submerged before you titrate.
I'm not sure what you really mean. There wouldn't be any point adding it afterwards! It's there to reveal the end point of your titration. You could add it when you thought you were near the end point, but it's easier to put it in before you start.
because if the temperature is too low the interaction between the oxylate and potassium permanganate will move too slow?? why IDK
As we all know that the potassium permanganate (KMnO4) is the dark purple color solution ...and in titration it become colorless ....so when the titration is completed ...and the other single drop of KMnO4 solution produce pinkish colour in a beaker ...which indicate that the reaction was completed just a single drop before .. we use indicator in a a reaction in order to indicate ...but we dont used indicator in titration with KMnO4 because it also indicate us by changing its color ...colorless to pink
To create an acidic medium or in another word made iron (II) ammonium solution more acidic as kmno4 acts as a strong reducing agent only in acid medium.

Back titrate to determine how much metal ion you had. 3.Back Titration In a back titration an excess of EDTA is added to the metal ion solution, and the excess EDTA is titrated with a known concentration of a second metal ion. The second metal ion must form a weaker complex with EDTA than the analyte ion so the second metal does not displace the analyte ion from its complex with EDTA. 4.Displacement titration Here the analyte is treated with an excess of a second metal bound to EDTA. The analyte ion displaces the second metal from the EDTA complex, and then the second metal is titrated with EDTA.
