Global warming is causing climate change. The warming is putting extra heat, that is, energy, into the winds and storms. This has caused changes to the Polar Vortex, the cold wind current around the Arctic Circle, forcing it down into parts of North America. At the same time that this is happening, temperatures in Alaska, for example, have been higher than normal. Overall, globally, the world is getting warmer all the time.
